First let me say that if you have not watched the movie, “The Secret” it is a must see!

The law of attraction is simple really. Many think that it is complicated, but it’s not. Simply put, we attract everything in our life whether it is consciously or subconsciously. Every thing that happens in our life is because we have asked the universe to give it to us.

Based on this, it has been proved that if you simply focus on the positive things instead of the negative you will ultimately get positive results instead of negative. For example, if you are trying to lose weight, don’t tell yourself that you are fat and need to lose weight, tell yourself that you are skinny and you have lost 20 pounds already. In time, that will happen! Another example, I am a work at home mom, it has always been my dream. I used to tell myself (before learning about the law of attraction) “I can’t stand having to get up and take my daughter to daycare everyday, I don’t want to work a normal job.” I continued to work a normal job, then one day things turned around. I started telling myself, “I am going to work from home.” “I am going to spend more time with my daughter.” Now I am a full time mom and employee right here from my own computer in my own bedroom! I attracted this!

Now you have to be careful, because if you are not using this power in the correct way you can be attracting negativity into your life. My motto: “Focus on the Positive”. You can simply take any negative situation in your life and “find the positive” in it.

On my newest journey in life I concentrate closely on children. I believe that as adults it is harder to accept new ways of life, or even just new ways of thinking. (That does not mean it can’t be done.) When we are a child we are so open minded about things that we have no idea about, instead of being scared of what will happen. This allows us, as parents, grandparents, and educators, to teach our children ways to live an extraordinary quality of life. This allows us to give our children the tools and resources that they need to be truly happy, and make others happy as well.

I don’t think that there is any certain age you should start teaching your child about affirmations. I believe that you can start when they are in the womb, or when they are five years old. Either way, they are still getting the teachings that they need. When you think about teaching your children affirmations, don’t think about making them understand how it works, just concentrate on teaching them to use them period.

Make it simple. The easiest way to allow your child to use affirmations on their own is to purchase this child empowerment program called, “The Secret to The Unlimited Child.” Yes, I work for this company, but I have to tell you from personal experience that this program will work miracles! I purchased it for my two year old daughter before I started working for them. Just after a week of using the program my daughter is naturally happier, easier to handle, and she walks around the house saying phrases such as, “I am smart” or “I am happy”. Right there I have taught my daughter how to use affirmations and she is only two years old. She will understand more and have questions when she gets older, and that is okay, but for now, she is using them all on her own, something that she will continue to do for the rest of her life!

The inspiration that has led to the creation of The Secret to The Unlimited Child has been evolvin since the loss of a seven year old boy, Andraez. His spirit wishes you to read, feel, and take with you a piece of enlightenment.

The series of events that have led to the creation of “The Secret to the Unlimited Child” have been quite extra ordinary, and have played out to be an incredible life changing journey for myself and family.

There was a time in early 2002 when everything seemed perfect. Harmony, balance and happiness were ours. My wife, Joey, and I enjoyed interacting and watching our young three boys, Joshua 11, Andraez 7, and Zachary 6, as their unique personalities developed and their worlds formed.

I was enjoying a hobby turned business where I fixed up cars and sold them. Kids-n-Cars was the name, as I helped 4 different children’s charities. Andraez wanted to own that business some day. Eventually came a time for me to move on, however, because the business of my dreams had knocked on my door long enough.

From back in my younger days I was always fascinated with the infinite possibilities of the human mind. I had studied Psycho-physiological medicine and psycho-neuro-immunology, as well as went to school to become a Master Hypnotist and Clinical hypnotherapist. Through the eyes of college professors and teachers, parents and grandparents, business owners and managers, I became aware of an increasing concern regarding a negative shift in the attitudes in children and the ensuing potential self-destructive results. I believe strongly in the laws of success, one of them being, “find a need and fill it”. I saw such a need within our youth. Children needed a way to get back on track, back to Grandma’s morals, ethics, values, disciplines and worthiness levels. Negative outside influences were on the rise, and there needed to be some type of counter-measure. This light bulb illuminated for me, well before my children were even conceived, and I knew that one day, when the timing was right, I would develop my idea.

So when this day came and I decided to rent the office and begin the task of creating the program, (then called Genius Child), great excitement within was unleashed. My kids thought it was cool, but particularly Andraez seemed attracted to the Idea that Dad was going to do something that could help children of the world. I was not surprised of his insight, as he was my little man who I’d catch on my computer here and there listening to my Yanni collection. “Felitsa” was his favorite. He was such an advanced 7 year old. He would regularly want to be at my office while I worked. Only one month into the project, however, came the news that would turn our lives upside down.

Andraez had recently had pain in his shoulder. After a week of exams, testing and probing, our little Andraez was diagnosed with Osteo Sarcoma bone cancer. The tumor in his shoulder extended down to his elbow, and had metastasized to his ribs and lungs already.

My office overnight became headquarters for planning a massive defensive against an enemy that statistically showed it could not likely be beaten. Although medical prognosis’s came in as high as an 80% survival rate, I found that Parents of children with the same ailment offered statistics much more accurate, and saddening. Mild cases of this cancer when combined with the suggested treatment plan were leading to horrible, painful journeys for these kids, which ended all the same, in death. I cried as I read their stories, over 300 cases. Andraez’s cancer was the most advanced I had seen, and his tumor was documented as “massive”. High dose Chemo, removal of his arm at the shoulder as well as parts of his ribs and lungs were to be just the beginning.

I was his Father, his Dad, and I had a job to do, an overwhelming responsibility regarding his dignity, honor and quality of life, whatever of that which was to remain.

When I brought my findings to the Docs, they fell silent. I had the evidence, which undeniably countered their misleading statistics. I requested we move towards plan B, whatever that might be. I was shocked to hear there was not a plan B, and that the protocol was to forward as “required”. When I suggested a look into Alternatives or Integrated Medicine, the “alarms” went off! I was quickly shut down on the idea and was informed that if the patient is under the age of 16 that the parent has no medical choice as to the protocol. Child Protective Services was immediately directed to our door the next day, where they threatened to make Andraez ward of the state if we resisted the forward movement of there protocol.

My wife and I now had to make the biggest decision of our lives.

It just so happened that a friend of ours from China had connections to what possibly could be a better option. I spoke with a Qui Gong Master Healer who was an expert in Chinese herbal remedies, and more importantly, had cured over 200 “incurable” cancer patients.

With CPS, the Docs, and Time applying unthinkable pressure, the decision, with the help of Andraez, was made. And so just only a few days before Christmas ’02, Andraez and I set off on a 747 to the distant east, missing what would have been his last Christmas with his family. We had escaped “the system”.

The day after our arrival, this Master Healer, with two other Master Healers met with us. They stretched out their hands and closed their eyes, as if to feel some kind of energy surrounding Andraez. After less than 10 minutes of this, they spoke with the interpreter for a few minutes, bowed to Andraez, and left. Her translation of what had just occurred floored me. She said that they identified Andraez as one of the “Ancient Ones”, and that what he had come hear to do in this lifetime was nearly completed. His journey here was at its end, and there was no reason left for him to remain. I was told He was the Teacher, and I was the Student. The seeds he needed to plant were nearly all in place, and I was to pay great attention as to what was to follow. They could not save the soul who’s time was done hear, and wished to leave.

I was devastated, yet, somehow in his eyes he reassured me things would be ok, and I knew these Masters were right. The next 28 days in China, together, we began the lessons of how to let go, and for me more than anything, how to be a good student.

The day we arrived back home, we celebrated a late Christmas. That was a Saturday. Sunday morning, CPS showed up at our home. In summary, if we did not immediately agree to the protocol set forth by the Docs, not only would Andraez become ward of the state, but our other 2 boys as well. The reason was because we would be deemed irresponsible parents. We agreed to the protocol, began showing up for more testing and preparation, as we strategically planned our entire family’s disappearing act. And so, we left, our journey taking us several places, all the while continuing alternative treatments throughout the “underground” who took us in. A normally very painful cancer was held to a minimum.

The important thing was that our family was together again. We enjoyed many, many things together, and Andraez got to experience anything he desired within our capabilities. He saw his recent weeks as an incredible adventure, and smiled often as to how famous he’d become, especially while in China. I remember the two little girls from Poland who sent him encouragement and kisses though his e-mail. He smiled and blushed.

Sadly, the day came when once again when our family had to separate. While the rest of the family had to get back home to keep that part of life afloat, Andraez and I had to journey on to a more aggressive treatment. It was the last time he would spend with his brothers and mom, as the Andraez they’ve always known.

A few weeks later, a night came when I had him snuggled up against me as we lay back against the hotel room headboard, while Andraez enjoyed watching his long awaited “Sponge Bob’s Lost Episode”. After the show, he was flipping channels and stopped when he recognized a familiar face. “Dad, that’s the guy from Shallow Hal”. He was referring to Tony Robbins, who at this time was introducing his new product, “Get the Edge”. Andraez asked me what he did and I explained how Tony helps people with their lives and businesses. Andraez was quick to respond with, “he’s going to help you with Genius Child dad”, as he insisted several times that I write down the 800 number. I remember how I didn’t want to let go of him to go across the room for that note pad, but I did, for Him.

It was only minutes later, that Andraez’s breathing worsened, and he couldn’t catch his breath. We left for the hospital, where he was committed to ICU. That was a Tuesday. Mom flew in the next day, and Make a Wish brought him Christmas-in-bed. We were informed that Andraez was dying, and he wouldn’t be able to leave the hospital which stretched three thousand miles from home. To our amazement, a gift from above came through in the form of some heart felt hospital staff; a $17k medical leer jet flight was arranged and paid for, including the volunteer Doctor and nurse which was to chaperone us on our 6 hour flight back home. Yes, Andraez would get to spend his final days at home. An air force base granted us permission to land, where a hospital transport was waiting for us. That was a Friday night. Friends and family came to visit him over the weekend, and all were looking forward to his going home on Monday morning.

But when Monday morning came, his going home turned out different than we had hoped. At 7am, on the 7th floor, our 7 letter named child Andraez, pushed off his oxygen mask and said, “Turn off my lungs”. “What?” we replied shocked, and he said it again clearly, “turn off my lungs”. I tried to put the mask back on anyway, but he put his hand on my wrist and gently pushed it away, letting go of the oxygen that kept him alive. And as he did so, I still remember the look in his eyes, that look that somehow said it was time for him to go, and please, dad, let me go. My arm went limp. He smiled. I hugged him, telling him how much I loved him and how proud I was to be his father, and that he could go to the “other side” that we’d talked about where we’ll see him again soon.

Within a minute or two he relaxed as he let go his final breath, and Andraez, indeed made it home.

About a month after Andraez’s “transition”, I began the hard journey of getting back into the swing of things. A short time into it however, my license to do business in the state was revoked for minor “late paper trail infractions”, and my appeal, which is normally granted to all, was rejected without reason. After much investigation including hiring a well-connected attorney, the conclusion was that I was being “spanked” by the state for taking the actions I had taken with Andraez. This was a giant that I had no desire to battle with, and so the decision was made to sell off everything we could and move to Grants Pass, Oregon. Here our healing could begin.

Just before leaving the state, however, a ray of hope came shining through. My best friend Roberto finally convinced me to go out and try to get back into life, and so to the sports bar I went. After a short time there, I surprisingly heard a familiar voice on the TV. I looked up to see to my amazement that same Tony Robbins infomercial, the one I had completely forgot about the night Andraez was admitted to ICU. I immediately got watery eyes, excused myself and raced home. There, for the first time I dared to open Andraez’s little suitcase, something I couldn’t bare to do prior. I had to dig through his clothes, his little shoes, his hat, (his scent), before I found it. That piece of hotel room note paper with the 800 number on it that Andraez insisted I write down.

“He’s going to help you with the Genius Child business, dad”.

I called the number right then and there. The next day, I was introduced to Mimi Peak, one of Tony’s Master Elite Coaches, who said she would be honored to coach a man who provided the dignified path for his child as I had. And so, in honor of Andraez, my children’s life empowerment program was once again awakened. It would now be different, with much more power, insight and love, fueled by an infinite energy source.

Since then the name of the program has more fittingly been changed to The Secret to the Unlimited Child. And now I proudly present to the world, a dad’s dream becoming a reality, and a gift inspired by a very special little boy, our angel, Andraez Diego Lee.
